A billing cycle is a period during which your credit card company generates a statement that includes all the transactions you made during that period. For HDFC credit cardholders, the billing cycle is usually a month long. Your billing date is the date on which your billing cycle ends, and your statement is generated.

The billing cycle is essential because it determines the due date for your payment and the grace period you have to make the payment without incurring any interest charges or late fees. For HDFC credit cardholders, the grace period is usually between 20 to 50 days from the billing date.

HDFC Credit Card Billing Date

The billing date for HDFC credit cards is the date on which your credit card statement is generated. It’s usually the same date each month and is determined based on the date on which you activated your HDFC credit card.

For example, if you activated your HDFC credit card on the 5th of the month, your billing date will be the 5th of every month.

Your billing statement will include all the transactions you’ve made on your HDFC credit card since the last billing cycle, as well as any fees or interest charges that may have been incurred during that time. You will usually receive your billing statement on your registered email id within 1-2 days of your billing date.

HDFC Credit Card Due Date

The due date for HDFC credit cards is the date by which you must pay your credit card bill in full to avoid any late fees or interest charges. The due date is usually 20 days from the billing date.

For example, if your billing date is the 5th of the month, your due date will be the 25th of the same month.

It’s important to note that the due date is not negotiable. If you fail to make your payment by the due date, you will be charged a late fee and may also incur interest charges.

Late payments can also negatively impact your credit score, making it harder for you to get approved for loans or credit cards in the future.
