  1. I had a credit card (freedom) , i had received a card in the month of October and by the December , I had to block my card cause the STATEMENTS from the card reflected a false Finance charges and also Late pay charges . Only motive of this department is Squeeze extra money from its customers under false charges and if you enquire they will say “just a moment i will transfer” and it a long wait till you drop the call . Very pathetic and bad experience . I literally had to worry jus to close my account with this bank . I will suggest anyone reading this to close the credit line with this Bank as quick as possible . Also they never tell you the right amount the app never works and other bank dun associate with this FRAUDSTER bank .

  2. Hi
I have a Jet Diners Credit Card (limit 7L) and my credit card payment history is excellent (I never delayed my CC dues payment beyond due date). I recently asked them to convert the card in to Diners Black, which they refused, with some funny logic. Not understood why. I have my Corporate Salary A/c with them for last 19 years and my last ITR was for 41L.
What do you think may be the reason and what to do. I want to target 10X rewards on this card, else I am very happy with my Yes Bank Exclusive and SCB Ultimate.

  3. I have very bad experience with HDFC Credit card. They have charged 1600 without my knowledge and telling that its for insurance. I didnt receive any insurance policy docs. Very bad experience.

  4. Friends don’t take any HDFC credit card(any type of) because they creates falls billing, extra charges, taxes, and whey you want to know about billing or your extra payment reversal they adjusts in falls charges. Because I also being cheated by HDFC Bank Ltd. HDFC BANK KA CHOR Credit Card department se kuchh lena mat Pachhtaba hoga !!

  5. I am a classic savings account holder in HDFC since last 6 months. They are offering me a Diners club Miles card for lifetime free, which I can see in my netbanking login also. But it sounds too good to be true, also the T&C page is not opening. Is it true or there will be hidden charges included.
Also can I pay my loan EMIs from credit card?

    Thanks

  6. Worst card, worst service.i have lost INR11,018 due to the error in payment.if we call up the customer care and inform abt this means they don’t have any idea how to resolve this.still it has not yet resolved instead of that they have scheduled the emi amount and sent, don’t hv any higher authorities to complain abt this or to resolve the issue.v r paying bill like dumb.worst service plz never ever go for this card.

  7. HDFC credit card is disgusting card I ever had, because they never disclose some schemes like SmartPay which they link to put a condition on making card life time free, but sales person says it is free. In first month you won’t get fee in bill like American Express, bit one fine day you will see card fee I your bill. You feel salesmen and people who hide things like parasites living on your hard earned money when you close card by paying fee. They say it was in terms and conditions which salesmen say not applicable for SPECIAL you.

  8. So let’s start. This is my personal experience and I would suggest a peace loving customers to stay away. I am a very old customer of this bank even I had premium saving account as well well current account. I m also holding a credit card of this bank. Few months back I missed one bill to pay in time and fro that time I used they started charging me 10 different types of fine . This bank is not less than a leech.

I have very worst experience with HDFC Bank Credit Card. They have issued me the Credit Card. Without any communication they have done my Electricity bill payment through credit card . I don’t known how..?.My credit card is still in envelope I have not opened it neither used but they rudely say that I have to pay the sum of INR 2398.83 Rs. HDFC is very bad I will suggest to everyone that not to take any credit card from them. Not providing good service.

!! HDFC BANK CREDIT CARDS ARE FAKE DON’T USE IT.IF YOU ARE USING YOU ARE INVITING HEAVY BILL AMOUNTS WITH INTEREST AT YOUR DOOR STEP !! BE ALERT

    1. Similar experience, chillar log hai chindi log hai HDFC credit card wale, don’t ever take HDFC credit card, they will eat your hard earned money like termites eat wood

  12. Sir, While discussion with customer care service employee assured me this regalia credit card is free for me on offer inplace of my old card Allmiles. It is absolutly free for lifetime is it true ? let me know please

  13. Manish Mehrotra

They wouldn’t resolve dispute on time. They will play games of taking the disputed amount out of your outstanding balance and then add it back in your next statement. If you notice and ask why did you put it back, Customer service agent will tell you deduct the amount and pay for the rest. In next statement you will see finance changes put on top of that outstanding amount and you will be asked to pay not only disputed amount but also finance charges which would be steep. Pl don’t apply for this card.

    1. Most of people don’t pay credit card charges on time and then ask for the waiver.

Banks check your history and payment records. If you are doing mistake for the first time then they may refund the charges.

I would not say that a bank is at fault if the customer is not paying by time.
